International Cooperation Since 1988 the IT (CT) has been designated by the International Council for Indo-European and Thracian Studies as its Secretariat and as the publisher of Orpheus. Journal of Indo-European and Thracian Studies. Prof. Alexander Fol, Doc.Litt. in History, Dr. Hist. , was the first General Secretary of the International Council of Thracian Studies till March 1, 2006. The new General Secretary will be elected at the next International Congress of Thracology in October 2010. CT maintains bilateral research contacts with similar and other institutes in Austria, UK, Germany, Greece, Italy, Macedonia, Moldova, Romania, Russia, USA, Serbia, Turkey, Ukraine, France, The Netherlands and Japan.
